We chose this cruise because it included two ports that we had never been to and it was leaving from the Port of Los Angeles. The embarkation was quick and painless.
We had a table for two in scheduled 5:30 dining. Our waitress and assistant were excellent and very efficient. Food overall was very good. It was served warm and was reasonable proportions. We dined one night int Crown Grill. The steak and food was excellent well worth the up charge. The buffet was fine for breakfast and lunch.
The entertainment was suitable for the age of most of the passengers. We enjoyed the three production shows the juggling act and a your saxophone soloist. We saw all the shows except for the one comic which we did not care for. There was good musical acts in a number of venues and the music was directed to the age group on board.
Cabin was in excellent shape with all the normal amenities. Pricesses had upgraded their bedding recently. The actual bed was fine. The problem was with the pillows. They are so soft that it causes your head to be covered by pillow and unable to receive air circulation which resulted in waking during the night to be covered in perspiration. They should offer a firmer pillow or bring you own to avoid this discomfit. I did enjoy the closet room to hang clothes as well as our balcony.
