Our 9th cruise on the Grandeur - and the best one yet! Embarkation in the Port of Baltimore couldn't be any better! Less than 30 minutes from the time we entered the port parking until we were on the ship! Disembarkation was even better! 15 minutes from leaving our cabin to getting in our car!

The ship is showing it's age (mostly through cabin furnishings) - but she still offers a great experience! We had the most superb wait staff in the MDR and the best cabin steward! Those two sets of folks helped make our cruise experience perfect on a daily basis. We met friends that we made on the same cruise a year ago - what a blast! It felt like "old-home week"!

St. Maarten was our favorite port on this 11 day cruise. Love the beach (easy access using a water taxi). Love the $25 for 2 lounge chairs/an umbrella, and 5 drinks! Can't wait until our next cruise on Feb 4 to the Bahamas!

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

We love balcony cabins - there are a must for us. We don't spent lots of time in our cabin - but when we are there - we get a gorgeous view of the ocean or ports! Plus - balcony cabins make the area seem larger - and much brighter! The showers are ridiculously small - even for a 5'1" woman like me! But we make it work - and love the living room area with a sofa and coffee table!
