Traveled with children

We chose this itinerary partly because of the ship, we traveled with 4 teenagers and 2 had never cruised and I wanted them to have a good experience. The waterworks was good, they enjoyed the ropes course, I think they also enjoyed the mini golf. The ship is very large, we had a balcony cabin and the kids were across the hall in Interior rooms. The balcony was nice but we really didn't spend much time out there, the kids had no complaints about the Interior rooms either. We have had better entertainment on other cruises. In general the crew didn't seem that excited to be working.

The Cruise Director was Jamie and she had more energy than anyone I have ever seen and did a great job. We never tried the specialty restaurants, had the buffet for breakfast and mainly main dining room for Supper and Guys Burgers was enjoyed at lunch time.

We stopped at Montego Bay and did a tour that included a stop at a private water fall, it was enjoyable and we got to see a lot of Montego Bay. Next was Grand Cayman, everyone snorkeled at the Turtle farm and had a great time. Last we stopped at Cozumel, the weather wasn't great and unfortunately we were bamboozled into believing that the original beach would not be offering any of water activities we had planned on doing and so we went to the other beach (not sure what was it called, I had planned on Paradise Island,) only to find out they had better weather and enjoyed all of the water sports.

Galveston

Got on the ship rather easily, normal custom lines. Disembarking was a bit of a pain, we have never had to wait so long to get off.

Montego Bay

When we went downtown after the tour, we didn't feel very safe. I'm probably over protective but I'm not sure I really want to go there again.
