This was my first (and last) cruise, we had a bad start with the happenings in the Ft. Lauderdale Airport and had to fly into Orlando, rent a car ($341.00) and drive 3 hours on no sleep. Arrived in Ft. Lauderdale at 4:00 a.m. and had to return the car (took 3 hours) and boarded ship. It rained and they delayed our embarkation until later due to the incident and people not being able to get to the ship.

Rough seas, which made my group sick (7 of us), I couldn't eat or go to any activities. They couldn't dock at Haiti and we went on to San Juan. Spent the day there (longer than expected) and returned to the ship where police were gathered there investigating a suspicious package. (possibly explosives) we were cleared to enter ship and left San Juan for more rocky seas.

I felt the food was average (extremely Salty!!!! so much that my husband's blood pressure soared and he had to seek treatment from the ship doctor), the price for items on the ship were ridiculously overpriced, the activities were okay. The excursions were overpriced too. Also there needs to be a "smoking only" designated area on the ship preferably on the back of the ship. The casino cigarette smell was horrible, I got sicker just walking through it. The cigarette smoke was overpowering and unbearable.

Promenade Stateroom

Cabin PR

My room overlooked the promenade and was quite noisy with the band and activities on the promenade which normally wouldn't have bothered me except I was bedridden during the day. My bed was comfortable and the accommodations were not too small.
