We just returned from a 10 day cruise in January on the Norwegian Spirit and loved it. The ship, the staff and the ports we visited were everything we had hoped for. We stayed in the balcony stateroom midship on the 11 th floor. It was convenient to elevators, gave us extra space for enjoying our morning coffee on the balcony and was a smooth quiet sailing location. We would recommend this tour. It was very cold in Rome and Florence and even Sicily in Jan. However you do avoid the crowds at the popular tourist sights. Wonderful. Vacation.

There were lots of dining choices on the cruise and we liked the free style dining theme. The staff in the dining rooms and the bars were excellent. Harold our cabin Stewart took very good care of our needs and has a real talent for sculpturing miniature animals with the towels. Made us laugh every time we returned to our cabin in the evening.

We did not attend any shows as we were very tired after our days in port. We did excursions in 6 ports in 9 nights and enjoyed just a quiet relaxing evening with a drink at The Cafe to talk about our day.
