We were a party of 13 yet MSC decided to book all 300 English passengers on the BA flight as one booking so no one was able to book seats for the plane it didn't get much better embarkation went ok and cabin was clean and ready on arrival, We attended the safety drill which was totally dis-organized people that did attend had to return following night as no one had scanned their cruise cards to prove they were there.

Food was awful no choice and never hot I had 1 hot meal in 2 weeks and that was a salad ! helpings were small but you could order as much as you wanted but no one bothered as it was so bad , Normally if you don't like what it served in the restaurant you go to the buffet and guess what they had the same selection on in the buffet well that and cold burgers and pizza .

We were on a 2 week cruise but the entertainment was weekly so if you watched it the first week no point going again the shows were very repetitive once you had seen the Juggler , bendy woman and strongman it didn't matter what costume you put them in it was the same other entertainment on board was extremely poor and bingo on main sunbathing deck that lasted over a hour in 4 or 5 languages most other announcements were given in French and Italian did not cater for English at all this includes the cabin TV with just 1 English speaking channel (CNN News) . There was a constant smell of Sxxt on the pool deck staff smoking in public areas my son caught casino staff emptying ashtrays in the toilet and no seating on the promenade deck . Staff on board were excellent with the exception to security when leaving or arriving back on board who just grunted at you "take your hat off" then snatched your card from your hand there was never a " have a nice day sir or welcome back have you had a good day" having said all this the ship was spotless and very nice such a shame that everything else was just so wrong !! Would I go MSC again ABSOLUTLEY NOT !!
