Cabin: Large Interior Stateroom

Ship is older and needs updating, especially in pool area. Entertainment was very basic. Other entertainment was unvaried, I could almost hum the soundtrack to the ship by the third night. No departure party, lack of fun, entertaining atmosphere. Gala nights lackluster at the best.

Realize weather out of control, but missing Christchurch, and then sitting in Wellington the night before without being able to get off the ship was too much. Cruise in the national park was joke, only lasted barely 1 1/2 hrs, then practically two full days at sea until reaching Tasmania, where many elected to get of the ship early and just fly back to either Melbourne or Sydney. You can see more of New Zealand on your own.

Restaurant seemed ok at first but then menu became highly imaginative in its description. At least they didn't mess up steaks. Also, Gala night menus completely underwhelming and not special compared to regular nights.
