Traveled with children

We chose this cruise because the timing fit our scheduled. I really wanted to visit Belize so I was happy that was port of call. We traveled with our three teenage children, and we all had the time of our lives!!!

Royal Caribbean very much cares that you have the best experience possible. Their customer service is top notch and they truly aim to please. The wait staff is very attentive. One of my daughters is dairy-free. I didn't note that ahead of time but simply told our server. They helped her make selections that fit her dietary needs with no issue at all. The food at Windjammer was great and there was a wide variety. We opted for breakfast here because of the convenience and wide selection. We choose "my time" for the dining room. We didn't have to wait to be seated at all. Our first two nights we really didn't connect with either waiter. He wasn't super friendly (not rude, just didn't make effort to connect). Our third night we found an amazing one so we just made a reservation with him for the remaining nights. We had to take the later seating, but we didn't care. He was worth it!! The food was delicious and a wide variety to choose from on the menu. Desserts were good but not top notch, which was fine because I didn't want the cruise pounds to take home ;)

Our first port was Roatan. We didn't have an excursion booked here, so we found a taxi who took us to the beach. The taxi trip was $25 each way for our family of five, and then we paid $10 each for entrance to the beach at a local resort, where we had access to a nice part of the beach, a pool, showers, restrooms, and a restaurant. It was perfect!

Cabin Review

Family Interior Stateroom

Cabin FI

This room was HUGE and plenty adequate for the five of us (adults). There was a set of bunk beds, a sofa that pulled out to a queen size bed, and a king size bed (two twin). A good size closet when you walked in AND a walk in closet! TONS of storage! Two vanities with lights, counter space, and plenty of floor space. We could have easily accommodated a sixth person in this room. I was definitely impressed! I considered booking two adjoining rooms but felt this was a cheaper option...and it turned out to be a better one.
