This was our eleventh Celebrity cruise and number seventeen overall. The last nine have been on their Solstice Class Ships. These ships are their best! Embarked in Ft. Lauderdale at 11:00 am Luggage porter mislabeled our deck number (even though cabin number was correct) on our luggage tags. This caused a delay in our delivery to our cabin. Being in a suite, our butler sent someone at 2:30 and delivered it immediately. Make sure you have Celebrity MAIL you pre-printed luggage tags before you leave home! Attach these right before you arrive at the pier (two tags on each piece of luggage!). Embark was quick and easy. We were on board 30 minutes later.
Had an elegant lunch in the suites only restaurant Luminae. Perfect. Cabins were ready by 1pm. The balance of the cruise was near perfect. A suggestion for Suite guests-- to change things up a bit in Luminae for dinner--ask to switch your table location and waiter each night unless you choose to dine elsewhere. Gets a little "old" having everything the same each night. Staff, food, ship cleanliness was excellent. My only small criticism was that our room steward kept knocking on our door during the evening to "finish up". This has never happened on any cruise. Last night on the cruise he knocked 4 times between (9:40pm and 10:30pm) I finally put out the do not disturb sign. Ridiculous! Use your do not disturb whenever you are in your room!
Staff outdid themselves on Labadee in Hati. The food served beachside was incredible! Arrived back in Florida around 6:30 am.
Carpets showing a little wear. Also, pillows need to be replaced. A definite smell of years of "body odor" in them!
