The Ovation of the Seas did nothing for us We were on the maiden xmas cruise to New Zealand. We took the cruise instead of spending xmas with our familys as we thought it would be a cruise of a lifetime.
On xmas day no tables were decorated except for two bom boms. What happened to the ham, xmas nuts, xmas puddings and trifle. The traditional xmas dinner and celebrations. It didn't happen..
We had asked some of the staff a question and they rattled off something entirely different that we had asked them. The movies you had to pay for in your cabin and the tv was repeat after repeat. If a show was cancelled nothing was put on in its place.A couple of acts were appaling i think royal carribean were trying to save money by employing them.
When you were at sea it was a loss as to what to do.If you liked trivia thats whats you got trivia morning noon and night otherwise you could sun bake play cards which a lot of people did or read a book. There was nothing else to do.The music only played for three quarters of a hour then they would have a break of nearly an hour it was like you had to follow the music.
Dissability people were treated poorly.Food was sub standed in main dining room Chic and Grande dining area.Very very dissapointed
it was cancelled never arrived there
