Over the American Thanksgiving holiday, my parents came to visit me in Barcelona where I am currently attending graduate school. After exploring the beautiful city of Gaudi we decided to explore more of Europe. What better way to see a bunch of different locations than from the comfort of a cruise ship! We walked right down to Barcelona

The many vistas from Pullmantur Horizon. From Sailing away and watching day fade into night in Barcelona to sunrises at a day in Sea the Horizon was filled with endless vistas perfect for lazy days sitting on a deck chair and watching the views.

Casablanca is a magical land filled with sounds, sites and smells to entertain all the senses. We stopped in Casablanca on a drizzly day but still were able to take advantage of each and every corner that makes Morocco the Arabian wonderland it is. Hassan ii is one of the biggest mosques in the world. My favorite part of our shore excursion tour was discovering the baths that are hidden underneath this stunning place of worship.

On island time in the Canaries and driving along a tiny road in Grand Canary to discover this beautiful hidden town deep in the gorge.

From Massive Mosques, Malaga Castles and gorges to San dune beaches this trip has been a patchwork of several different worlds sewn together by one big boat. Beginning in the vibrant city of Barcelona and walking in Gaudi

Giayadeque Gorge may just be the most magical views to ever exist on such a small island. We loved our shore excursion in Grand Cannery discovering the big beauty in this little place!

After a week of open bar, five course dinning and many new friends made on board we are leaving our beloved Pullmantur Horizon Ship to a little land of black sand beaches and volcanic mountains named Tenerife.
