Recently returned from January 8 to 15 cruise to Eastern Caribbean, making stops in San Juan, St. Thomas, and Half Moon Cay. Passengers were mainly over 60, with a few families and younger children.
Ate several times in main dining room. Food was quite good, but service is "relaxed" and slow by American expectations. Dinners can take 2 to 2 and a half hours there. Filet minor and lobster tail were served one night. Prime rib and baked Alaska served the following night. The Lido buffet has many selections, but food is often lukewarm at best and occasionally cold by the time you take it to the table to eat. New York pizza and deli is open until midnight, with pizzas and sandwiches being made to order. Caesar and Caprese salads are available there, as well as fresh yogurt with fresh fruit.
My interior stateroom on deck 5 was very comfortable. Best features are flatscreen television, excellent shower, good storage space, and excellent service from cabin staff.
