We chose this cruise for the itinerary.

This was our 5th Princess cruise. We have thoroughly enjoyed our previous cruises and were looking forward to another great Princess cruise. Sadly, we were let down. The Crown Princess is in desperate need of refurbishment. There are permanent stains on the carpets, our stateroom badly creaked whenever we were in high swells (which was frequent), the toilet blocked at least 7 times… the list goes on.

The food at the traditional dining room was disappointing. I don’t believe we had one meal that impressed us. Our single experience at Sabatini’s was also disappointing. The cover charge has increased yet the food quality has gone down! An occasional meal at Horizon was just as disappointing. The food was tasteless, and there was a lack of variety. The only food court that was worthwhile visiting was the International Café. It became our regular hangout for breakfast. Read more
