Beware!!!! Don't waste your money and time, you would spend more money on medications after your trip!!! I would never recommend anyone to travel on Carnival Elation Cruise Line!!! Don't spend your money on such a disappointing vacation. We had the worst trip ever. The cabin was filthy and dirty, the shower and fans in the bathroom were moldy. Even though we had rooms service twice a day, they only made the bed and vacuumed the carpet. Carpet had old stains and mirrors seemed like they had never been cleaned before. We had no desire to stay in the cabin at all, but had no choice. The ship itself was old and there was literary nothing to do! Besides karaoke nights they didn't have any entertainment for young people at all!! When we came to Half Moon Cay, we were supposed to have 2 excursions. But for some reason all the excursions were cancelled that day. So we were brought to the private island. Nothing was open there except for the bar. It was extremely hot that day, but we didn't have hats and sunscreen with us hoping we would buy everything on the island. Unfortunately, the shops were closed and we couldn't rent a tent to be in shade. We were laying under the sun all day and got terrible sunburns! We had to go to the medical office the first time that night because we had a high temperature when we've got the sunburns. On the second day, we arrived to Nassau where we purchased the dolphin swim tour. We were happy to have at least any activity after the boring 3 days on the ship. It was a private island with only one bar where we had lunch. The food there was provided by Carnival company. On the island my boyfriend stepped on the huge rusty nail which damaged his foot. Thank goodness, I had a hand sanitizer with me so we sprayed his foot to disinfect his cut skin. At 5 pm we were already on the boat and started having stomach aches (we hadn't eaten any other food but lunch on the island). As we realized later, we were food poisoned! It was an awful feeling, we had to ask for medical help again, but the pills we were given didn't help. We couldn't go out of the cabin for the last 2 days of the trip. We were so happy to be back to Jacksonville on the fifth day of our vacation!! I was sick with my stomach for the next 3 days. I will never forget this terrible trip!! We called to the cruise company to ask for a refund, but they refused to give us any money!!! They said they were not responsible for the food on the island and for the rusty nail too! Extremely upset and need a vacation after this trip!!
