We've took 10 cruises, 8 were with RCCL, this was nothing more than a ship with all new employees. Our guess is the seasoned employees moved up the food chain to newer ships. The food was bland. The salad bar which is normally excellent didn't have much of anything; carrots, green & red peppers, onions, broccoli. The 8pm dining was horrible. We ordered iced tea and finally received it with dessert. Seafood was undercooked. Salmon was white, not sure what it was but sure it wasn't salmon. We do room service in the a.m. we order water, orange juice, water, fruit & pastries; not once was it correct. We got cups but no coffee, no water, hit or miss on the O.J.
The ratio on the Casino is well below 80%. We gamble and couldn't come away with a 10% win. Lots of rocking on this ship. Last day when we arrived at port the bathrooms were dumped. It was a smell you couldn't escape. Made me ill.
Huge language barrier. I would say as many as 50% of employees are very new and clueless, little training. Shops have the same things as always, nothing new or exciting. Excursions have increased quite a bit since the last time we cruised which was 2015. Coffee always has grounds in the bottom of the cup and has to be the cheapest coffee, very bad. Of the 8 cruises we've done with RCCL this was by far the worst. I'm disappointed enough I will consider another line in the future.
Larger Interior cabin, fine for us as we don't spend our time in the room. Requested ice bucket daily and was fine the first 3 days, the last 4 days consisted of a large rubber tub, no lid, reminded me of a butter tub, I'm not sure what that was about but the ice melted immediately.
Tampa is an easy port compared to some others
Overcast, just shopping
Raining all day, it was ok
