There were so many issues on our trip that I don't even know where to begin.....One of the most important things, terrible customer service; THE COMPANY NEEDS TO DO A BETTER JOB OF TRAINING ITS STAFF; Staff was not at all friendly and did not go out of their way for the guests; One night I was unable to make a my time dinner reservation by phone because the staff was supposedly busy serving the earlier group and when we arrived at 8pm I was rudely spoken to saying I should have made a reservation (which was impossible because nobody answered the phone) and that they had no idea how long it would take for an available table. Ship was overcrowded; People sometimes had to wait up to 15 minutes in the morning to find a free table at the Windjammer, the only open restaurant after 9am, which is totally unacceptable; We had to return food that wasn't properly prepared and as an apology we received a delivery to our room of chocolate covered strawberries, which still didn't make up for rubbery chicken and nearly raw steak; We consistently had to request beverages in restaurants a couple of times before being served; People reserved seats with their towels by the pool first thing in the morning so that those who really wanted to use the pool facilities had no where to sit, not relaxing or enjoyable; There needs to be a better regulation regarding seating of pool guests; What was most upsetting was literally being forced out of our room on the last morning while the crew knewthat there were issues with getting flights out due to the Ft. Lauderdale shooting that occurred the day before; and the list goes on and on.

We spoke to many others on our trip who had the same gripes and what was supposed to be an enjoyable and much anticipated New Years week cruise turned into a very upsetting, anxiety riddled and disappointing vacation. I feel as if $4,000 was flushed down the toilet.

Sadly, I feel as if need a vacation from my vacation as there were too many things wrong on our ship, from the rude staff to the awful service to the overly crowded ship that made our time completely disappointing and unrelaxing. Read more
