We used to LOVE the Reflection but this last cruise that we got off today might be our last Celebrity cruise...Embarkation was flawless..

Cabin (9292) was great..Our Cabin Steward, Andrew , was wonderful after we got over the initial please bring extra towels and heavy bathrobes that would wrap around us...The skimpy cotton pique robes in our closets didn't go around me ( I am a size 8!)..I missed the towel animals that almost all cruise lines do ( was on Carnival 2 weeks earlier and they did the animals...). But we did LOVE our Cabin Steward.

Our verandah had chairs that were like chaise lounges ( ie the backs folded down) but had NO ottoman to put your feet on....We were told these ottomans were for concierge class only ( we normally sailed concierge but this time did not)...My point being..why put a chair on the verandah that was NOT usable to relax on and watch the sea go by.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View with Verandah 1A

Cabin 1A

Cabin was super nice...Loved the verandah....chairs on verandah needed the foot stools considering that were chair that went back like chaise lounges.

Rooms could use MORE DRAWER space.

Be careful when taking a shower while ship is in port and NOT moving...the water rose almost to flood stage while taking a shower that day. It was explained to us by the plumber and cabin steward that the shower drains while ship is MOVING.

GREAT Cabin steward, Andrew, and wonderful Officer who sent the bottle of Champagne to our cabin after all the problems we had in the dining room.

Port Reviews

San Juan

walked thru Old San Juan...For those of you needing a Starbucks fix, there is a Starbucks in Old San Juan just up the hill to the left of the monument.

Go to a restaurant called Aqua Viva for the best ceviche and coconut mojitos...we went for appetizers and then headed back to ship for dinner.

Also an amazing POLO shop that always has terrific sales just as you get off cruise ship in bottom of downtown...LOVED old San Juan

St. Maarten

walked thru town...window shopped...and hit the BLUE BITCH BAR for the best tee shirts on the planet..Every time we are in St Martin, we go here and get Tee shirts...the saying on them is GREAT and people always laugh when they read it...

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Lots of the same Cruise controlled stores or else the other stores tried to rip you off even more...make sure if you buy anything gold that it is MARKED gold..a lot of silver...925 sterling is plated with gold and the "black diamonds" are man made..make sure you ask..

This was a wasted port in my book as I wanted to do a sail, snorkel, lunch excursion and could not find one...

Skip this port and let's get the cruise line to go back to Antiqua...
