This is my 3rd cruise with Oceania. Two small ships, Insignia and Regatta and the beautiful bigger ship the Marina. We were not disappointed with the Insignia. Oceania has a certain standard and they didn't fail with the Insignia. The food is phenomenal as was expected. We did get the feeling that perhaps the Insignia is where new recruits join the team as far as servers go. There were some slip ups that we never encountered on the Marina for example. Being a smaller ship there are only 2 restaurants but both offer delicious menus. The Grand Dining Room always a treat. The staff worked very hard to remember our name and something about us to make it personal. I was disappointed with the boutique. They offer only designer names most of which can be found at any port we stopped at. I wanted to buy a tee-shirt or two and they don't sell that at all. All in all it was worth going with Oceania once again. Hard to beat. It's not a cruise line for people who want to party hardy, go down big slides at the pool etc. It's a cruise line for total relaxation.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View

Cabin C2

it's the first time we took an ocean view cabin. We usually take balcony but it worked out perfect. We loved being on Deck 4. It was so central to everything.

Port Reviews

We rented a luxury car from SIXT and drove to Sawgrass Mill Mall. It was incredible. The best mall I have ever been too.

Puerto Montt

We took a taxi to the Champagne Reef. Was pouring rain but if you're in the ocean doesn't matter right? There is snorkeling. It's worth the trip.

St. Barts

two times to St. Barts and two times could not anchor so I never did get to see St. Barts.

We hired a taxi for 4.5 hours. The gentleman took us all around the island and we really saw beautiful Barbados. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the taxi company. They were just on the pier. Very professional.

Did not like Martinique at all. The only people with any decency are the black people selling spices and dolls etc. The shop keepers did not care about us tourists. Two of the shops they were downright rude. They didn't know we understood French but we got an earful.

We took a taxi to Jolly Beach. It's beautiful and out of the way of crowds.

Shipped docked close enough for us to walk to the old Fort. It's worth the visit.
