The Star Princess was find but nothing spectacular. The embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. The cabin was ok but not enough seating area. Had to lay in bed to watch TV. Shower was very small. The food was okay but the offerings in the international cafe were pretty much the same during the 2 weeks. There were way too many art auctions and sales on jewelry/clothing. There weren't many activities. You had to pay for some of the exercise classes. Just too much nickle and diming passengers. I always felt like they were trying to get us to buy something. We did enjoy the presentations on the different islands by the naturalist, Mark White (?), and the other tour guide.
The dining staff was the highlight of the trip. We had the same servers each evening and they were great and very helpful. We would like to thank Allan Soriano and Andrii Taranushcenko for their great service. One of the dining managers, Giovanni Comes was extremely helpful as well. They were our entertainment and it was great to get to know them. We looked forward to each meal.
