We love cruising out of Galveston since we live closer to the west coast and it is easier to get there than having to fly all of the way to Florida. We cruised Jan 1-8 2017 and I personally loved how they still had the Christmas trees and decorations on board! I have been on various cruise lines and I have to say Carnival is getting better and better. It's nice to see a cruise line improve instead of cut corners. The food was very good. I especially liked the many, many choices you have a lunch. Guys Burger Joint was outstanding!! The main dining room offered many varieties of food. Would be nice to see more choices for free dining in the evening instead of just the main dining room and buffet but at least at the buffet you do have extra options like pizza and a deli. The entertainment was very good with quite a bit of variety and also there is the comedy club. The only thing I would like to see more of with Carnival is a better variety of options during sea days besides constant trivia, art auctions, spa "enrichment" seminars which basically is a sales pitch of some sort, etc. Please offer things like cooking classes, dance classes, exercise classes, maybe an enrichment class on a port of call we might be visiting, etc. Overall though the service was very good, ship was very clean, food was very good and the ship was great! Would definitely sail on the Breeze again!

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8C

Cabin was big enough and had nice closet storage. Bed was a bit hard and there was only one outlet in the entire cabin. I suggest bringing a power strip.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Cozmel has changed alot!! Amazing shopping and many things to choose from to keep you entertained.

Galveston

Need to have a car rental place that is open on Sundays!
