Sail Date: Dec 2016
Cabin: Concierge Class 2

Our second cruise on Celebrity was our most recent cruises over Christmas. I received an e-mail regarding this sailing and investigated the details. We booked a Concierge Class stateroom for the same price as a Verandah Stateroom. We have found out that having the line select our stateroom is a plus--there is always a better chance for an upgrade. This was the case we went from a category C-3 to a C-2 stateroom.

As Concierge Class passengers, there is a separate check-in for those sailing in this class. Additionally, there is a luncheon in the Main Dining Room for all Concierge Class passengers and those who have repeatedly sailed on Celebrity. A bottle of sparkling wine in our stateroom and each day a plate of sweet and savory treats deliver just in time for afternoon cocktails.

Unfortunately my partner feel on our first excersion in San Juan. Nothing broken, however, mobility was limited. The medical staff could not have been better--top notch care and service! They could not have done any more to make our cruise a great experience. We will be sailing with Celebrity again in March on a five-day get away.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 2

Cabin C2

This cabin was Aft. About as far Aft as you can get from the Aft elevators. The Aft elevators are really mid-ship. It was a hike from the elevator to our stateroom especially when pushing a wheelchair. However, with that said our stateroom was excellent. It was big, 194 square feet, and a delightful balcony. The bathroom was more than big enough. We a goodly amount of storage space. I like to unpack everything and stow the luggage away. We would have used more drawers for clothing that did not lend its self to hangers. A small price to pay. Our cabin steward, Cruz, was the best--very accommodating. The balacony was big enough for us to have breakfast there. The chairs and table, eating level, was great. Nothing compares to pulling into port while having your second cup of coffee.
