We recently did the PNG xmas cruise, the ports were great( Alotau, Kiriwina, Rabual, Conflict Is & Kitava, with smaller group tours than your average cruise which was a nice change.

The ship itself was somewhat of a disappointment, despite it being advertised as newly refurbished it was second rate and tired.

Embarkation in Brisbane, leave a lot to be desired, with an archaic system that takes in excess of 1.5 to 2 hrs, that make you feel like no less that cattle being herded. Long waiting lines then finally herded into another waiting area to wait until your number was called. Such a poor system.

The cabin was nothing special, the best thing to remark about this was it was at least clean.
