We had not been on a Princess cruise in three years due to work demands. We planned this cruise far in advance in honor of our 40th anniversary. The improvements were evident in every aspect of the cruise.

Food: (We are vegetarians who eat fish). Outstanding. Service was impecable. Our waitress Laura in Capri was so good we ate dinner ever night at 5:00PM in order to have her. In fact without exception, the first four people in line when the doors opened were people who wanted one of her tables. Miguel her assitant was equally outstanding. The food was the best we have had in 30+ cruises. The food at Horizon was equally excellent. Salads were fresh every day and the food was tasty. The traffic flow has been tweaked in Horizon so the flow is much improved. We were always asked if we needed something or a refill of coffee etc.

Cabin: We were in D623. The cabin is a bit tired looking. There were a few tears in the sofa but overall it was very good. The steward, Ian, did an excellent job. My only minor complaint would be the bath towels were not very soft.
