Amazing for our first cruise

Trip Details

  • Destination: Alaska
  • Cabin Type: Large Ocean View Stateroom

This was our first cruise ever and it was a blast. First of all the ship was great. Not too big and not a small one. It never felt crowded. The people working on the ship were always friendly and after 2 days some already greeted us with our names. We had the late dining option, which was ok so we wouldn't have to rush back to the ship on the shore excursions. Two times we choose the specialty dining restaurants. The sushi place is really great and we got a lot for our money. The second time we did Giovannis and those people stuff you with food (i think that's a cruise thing), but it was really amazing. Our Stateroom had only a bulkhole but we could close it at nights and so it was really dark, due to the sun nat really setting in alaskan summer. We did excursions in every port and the best one was "Snorkel Alaska". We had one of the best holidays ever.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom
Cabin I 2018

Great stateroom. It was quiet and it was very stable even when the upper parts of the ship were shaking.

Just amazing to be so close in front of the glacier.

We got to Seward 2 days prior to departure and we enjoyed every single minute there. Nice and friendly people. A great small city with great restaurants.

Wildlife Tour

We got an inside view into the Tlingit people and we got a nice tour. Sadly we didn't get to see a bear.
