Personally, I don't care if the ship in which I cruise is not the newest, biggest or shiniest:what matters to me is that the staterooms are clean and full functional, the people on board are friendly and the food is of excellent quality. On all these aspects the Sea Princess delivered in spades !
The party to see in the New Year was especially memorable: well done to all concerned !
Cruise Director, Stu ,was adequate enough, but his deputy,John was a real live-wire, a life-and-soul -of-the-party type, as well being an excellent Choir Master and possessing an ability to preach an excellent sermon. Shore excursions:Mystery Island, Fiji and Noumea were well organised, as far as I could see..
The food as served in the Dining Rooms was indeed, excellent (I rather despise the Horizon Court, good only for a late night beverage).
The only criticism on the running of the ship was the over-excessive air conditioning in certain locations on board,: the Princess Theatre was particularly Arctic which was in sharp contrast to the tropical conditions outside.
But,all in all, an excellent cruise.
Very clear-all that we required. An excellent Stateroom Steward.

Very good. Explored in a glass-bottomed boat.
