Don't believe most of the negatives you read about this ship. We expected the cruise to be a 4 on a 10 point scale, because of all the negatives we read on Cruise Critic. We rated it MUCH higher. No, it isn't an elegant, high end competitor to the best cruise lines, but there were many good things for all to enjoy.

The cruise was full (4400), but there were always chaises available. Except for the embarkation lunch, there were few lines, plenty of seats, and no over crowding as we expected.

The food and service were WAY better than we expected. Yes, we ate early, but we ate in Romeo and Juliet (first night), Chops Grille Steakhouse (second and fourth nights), and Giovanni Italian (third night). We relaxed, and found the service and the food were very good. Not excellent, but certainly good.

Great room with an even better balcony.

Cabin service was excellent. Our attendant gave us her card, but we never had to call her. We tipped her extra for her care (daily ice, towel elephants, shampoo, extra towels, turn down service, and friendliness)
