Cabin: Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

We had booked the "Chefs Table"worst experience ever. Instead as on any other ship having a seperate intimate room we were directed to the Windjammer where a partition had been erected the lights were bright and I felt I was eating in the cafeteria. We did pay extra and got on New Years Eve basically the same menu as the dining room and it was certainly below average Pea soup and cabbage as a vegetable and dry and overcooked beef even when I requested rare does certainly not make it special. The main dining room staff unfortunately was very nice and friendly but most of the time most of the time it is a hit or a miss. Breakfast was the worst Egg Benedict cold, 20 minutes wait for coffee as part of the strategy was to wait until 4 or 5 tables are occupied and them they take the orders and bring back all the orders at the same time.

We had paid full price for our cabin and were given one with an obstructed view. The bathroom amenities were a cake of soap & a container of nameless two-in-one shampoo & conditioner attached to the shower wall. Not even a notepad & pen supplied in the cabin. We even had to ask for a extra cake of soap when ours was nearly all gone. No pen or note pad in the cabin.

No pool side BBQ, expensive internet, poor entertainment
