The itinerary and timing of this cruise were ideal but I regretted booking it. there were up charges for everything; forty-five dollars for a six-pack of water in the cabin, menu items in the inclusive dinning rooms with additional charges listed and twenty-five dollars pp if you want to walk into the Ice Bar.

We were in a forward cabin and on this big ship if your cabin is forward or aft plan on long walks. In the cabin the carpet was heavily worn and stained. It was difficult to regulate the temperature because the thermostat would reset automatically making it necessary to adjust it several times a night. Our steward was good and kept the cabin clean.

The safety drill was the most unorganized one I have taken part in. The organizer yelled at the guests to be quite but when they stopped talking no instruction was given so they started to converse again. This happened five or six times. Read more
