We assumed we were getting the same caliber ship and amenities on the Carnival Valor as we did on the Magic, but we didn’t.

Cigarette smoke was everywhere and not just by the casino. We smelled it in the lobby, on guest decks and even near the elevators on the Lido deck.

We paid for a balcony, yet three or four days, they were “cleaning” or painting. They woke us one morning working outside and then one day I couldn’t go out as they were on our balcony. Maybe one day per cruise, but not multiple days!

Pink, salmon, and cantaloupe colors - wouldn't be my pick.

Boarding went much quicker this time than it did three years ago.
