Cabin: Promenade Stateroom

For my first cruise the 13 night was a good length to find out what cruising is all about. I shared a promenade cabin with work mate. The cabin a good size for two older women and had a good view of the promenade for people watching without leaving the cabin, although we didn't have much time for this. The food was excellent with lots of choices, and lots of it from buffet style, formal dining, Japanese, Italian, Grill and an American style milk bar. It was also of a good quality. Lots of things to do on board even when the weather wasn't the best from ice skating to board games. The staff, from cabin attendants to restaurant staff were helpful and friendly. Tours were easily arranged both before leaving on the cruise and for last minute bookings. Would recommend getting a drinks package if you like a glass or two of wine and a couple of mocktails during the day. Can't wait to do it again.

Port Reviews

Port Vila

Very busy at the port with markets that were hard to get past.

Lautoka

Stayed on board but a nice small market near the ship for last minute souvenirs was good.

Sydney (Australia)

Took a long time to embark due to computers going down.
