This was our first cruise on the Fantasy, but our 16th cruise overall. I love the small boats. They have they same number of eating places with about half as many people to feed.
I will start with embarkation. We were on the boat within 30 minutes of arriving at the port. Embarkation went very smoothly. We have priority status, so that may be why we got on the boat so quickly, but the Mobile port did seem to have worked out any kinks that they may have experienced upon reopening in November.
Upon entering the ship, I was impressed. The decor was very modern. The tile work on the promenade was simple, but gorgeous. Our room was nice. We had an ocean view room for four. My 13 year old daughter slept on a pull down bed, and my 11 year old son slept on an extra cot-type mattress the steward had prepared for him. We never felt too crowded in our room. Our room was serviced twice a day. This was a nice surprise since on our last couple of cruises our rooms had only gotten serviced once per day. Our steward, Dante, was great!
This is a nice well-kept cabin. We cruised with our two pre-teens and didn't feel too crowded. It was serviced twice daily.
