"Embark on a very civilised adventure. Sail with Cunard to experience your ideal oasis of discovery, relaxation and sophistication" "The Cunard experience. Everything you wanted Nothing you expected.".
The above comes from the Cunard web site so I thought that I'd write my review with this in mind.
Our 5 day trip was the celebration of a significant anniversary and we had booked a cabin in Club Balcony class to add to the relaxation and sophistication and in some ways this move was successful, as the dinning experience in the Club balcony package was a bit of an oasis, particularly for breakfast.. Our cabin, however was on deck 8 just below the Pavilion Bar. It was noisy during the day and the night.: table tennis noise, Yacht Club music in the evening and conversations of the many passing people day and night was not what we wanted! We've been on many cruises but never has the cabin been so noisy. Not an oasis of relaxation at all. I think Cunard need to move their Club Balcony Cabins to a quieter area.
Nice interior. Cabin layout fine, Steward excellent, bed comfortable, linen good quality and fridge worked well. Bathroom pokey and shower tiny.
This cabin is just below the Pavilion Bar. It was noisy during the day and the night.: table tennis noise, Yacht Club music in the evening and conversations of the many passing people day and night. We've been on many cruises but never has the cabin been this noisy. The soundproofing is very poor.
Worth a look around . Great public transport.
