  3. Empress of the Seas
We went on a 7 day cruise on Empress of the Seas, the smallest ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet. Don't let it's small size discourage you, quite the opposite, it was a fanstastic ship. The crew were outstanding and it didn't appear dated or worn out in the least. Our daughter has severe food allergies and the dining staff were fantastic. We never had any concerns about accidental or cross contamination. The pool is small but we never had any trouble getting in. Our cruise was sold out and the dining room and theatre handled the crowd very easily. We never felt rushed or packed in. Of course you need to get your deck lounger a little early, but that just makes sense. One of the highlights for us was watching a movie on deck, under the stars while out at sea. The audio was good and the picture was clear.

Size doesn't matter!
