Choose cruise to be with family! Unfortunately, we all made a terrible choice of ship and cruise line. 12 days of toilets flushing "sometimes", terrible food and nothing to do while at sea was worst experience. We have cruised 15+ times but only twice on RC. Never Again!! This ship needs to be retired! The staff could care less in responding to requests. Note, these are the opinions of family members. From being told NO numerous times by Guest Services to cold cereal all over the carpeting and filth being left in stateroom upon being told staterooms were ready! We had great difficulty contacting concierge in tiny loung by phone or personally during hrs. Supposedly on duty. The DR staff was nice but food horrible. The best choice was cold soups which we took advantage of. Serve yourself Windjammer food was casseroles or fried-we ate salad for 12 days!! RC has made huge mistake in no longer supplying simple things for suite guests and other guests: paper and pen in room, robes, water ( a staple of life made very expensive on ship) phones with message lights, poor entertainment, no informations on ports Except Shopping! They say word of mouth is the best recommendation, unfortunately, our recommendation of Grandeur and RC in general will not encourage anyone to sail with with RC again!!
