My wife & I. Are diamond carnival cruisers (47) & took our son , daughter in law , & grandson for a New Years cruise. We paid more than average for the newest ship & got less. Less service for one ....the dinning room waiters on average serve 30-40 people per seating. The dinning experience in general was sub standard for cruising ....poor food quality & choice. Oh & the dinning room a Walmart design at best , I've seen better cafeterias .

Another main design problem is the main show room .....carnival get your design money back. So many poles blocking views , bad seating & traffic flow, small stage with no house band.

I don't know the tonnage/ size of this ship compared to the other large ones , but it seem close ....except for 4800 people . Carnival is stuffing in more people ,giving less & also nickel & dimeing you to extra fee restaurants, movies ,& special ares .
