2nd cruise with Norwegian, this time not so great! If you are traveling with children, this isn't the ship for you. Customer service isn't something that Norwegian is concerned with, once you book your trip they could care less about your experience, 2 examples below:

A week or so before my trip I prepaid for my gratuity, when I questioned why my 3 yr old son was priced the same as the "adults" I was told "this is the reason why we don't like kids on the ship, we don't make any money off of them" OMG I was stunned, maybe my $$ aren't big to them but, my 3k matters to me! Sorry to say it gets worse....

We choose this peticular cruise because it's a NEW ship and the destination. It was a HUGE disappointment when we were told that 4 days of our 7 would be on the ship due some mechanical issues. Our Caribbean trip consisted of only 2 islands St Thomas and Tortola, the instead of the Bahamas we got a $50 ($12.50 pp) credit to our stateroom. The Guest relations staff had a tough time during the cruise, people were yelling at them cursing at them, ect I chose not to do that. The technical issues were not the fault of the staff, they only did what they were told to do. I was given the number to call customer service to discuss a partial refund, returning home I called customer service three times. The first two times, I was met with a very lengthy hold, the third time after 30 minutes I got someone on the phone who told me I had a file a complaint online. Once submitted you receive a message saying they will respond in 15 days!! To date I have received at least 25 emails about $50 deposits and fabulous offerings for 2017, and a personal consultant offered to help me book a new cruise. Read more
