We really expected the cruise to be a tad more festive, than it was. Having said that, the ship was decorated lovely and most of the staff wore Xmas Hats, but Xmas Day was a let down. We would have liked the lunch to be a full on Xmas type lunch, with all the trimmings....baked ham, turkey, chicken, plum pudding and maybe Santa walking through the dining rooms, but it was a basic every day lunch.

The dress code has deteriorated on Princess of late, I'm really sick of seeing "Yobbos" lining up for dinner, wearing clothes they have been in all day and baseball caps, I'm no snob, but a bit of class and effort please!

The weather in New Zealand was shocking, but that isn't a Princess fault , but a chance you have to take in a country with unpredictable weather.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

Good cabin in a great location, however we did have a minor problem with the hot water, but it came good early in the cruise. Fantastic comfortable beds, we were able to swap our Mini Bar for two coffee cards. No complaints !
