Our cruise started with tours in Buenos Aries and the Tigre Delta. All excursions with the ship were well organized with good guides. In two ports we got tours with local operators we saw at the pier and they were satisfying-and half the price. Many groups booked independent tours in advance. We were able to dine in the speciality restaurant s more than once by calling in each morning for that day reservations. Only 6:30 and 8:30 were available each time. Sharing a table with others was a pleasant way to meet other guests. Our afternoon treat was the ice cream station next to Waves dining on the 12th floor. Try to get a front seat for shows featuring dancing as it is difficult to see the stage floor from the rear. We met many couples who travel extensively with Oceania and we have our next Oceania cruise booked for June.
This cabin is opposite the service door for the stewards. It was noisy as the carts were rolled out each day for cleaning.
Highlight of trip. Be prepared for a very bumpy ride in a 4x4.
