We had 19 people in our group. All but 1 stateroom was on Deck 1. There was a horrible sewage odor in the hallway and 2 of the staterooms had air-conditioning issues. Both requested fans and only one of the two received a fan. Maintenance tested the temperatures in the rooms and found them to 78 Degrees.

Compared to past Carnival Cruises, I was disappointed in this one. The buffet did not have a good variety, the carving stations always seemed to have Roast--never saw ham or turkey, etc. The main dining room selections were not varied enough either. Portions were small. In past cruises there were no items on the menu that passengers had to pay for ($20). The food in general was below average.

Loved Guy's burger joint and the Mongolian Wok, Taco Bar and Pizza's.

Cabin Review

Cabin Balcony

My husband & I had a balcony on the Spa Deck. It was clean and comfortable. My husband and I paid for our family members cabins also (a total of 19 people, 6 Cabins). 5 Cabins on Deck 1. Two of the cabins on Deck 1 had air-conditioning issues that were never resolved. The temperature in their rooms was 78 Degrees (Stateroom 1260 and Stateroom 1336). The corridors on Deck 1 smelled terrible--like sewage.
