The Good- Not much, got to spend time with family. Able to switch our group of 9 from Anytime Dining to a set table at the early seating on the second night( Spend a whole day wondering if they could accommodate)
The Bad- We got a terrible cabin steward- our room was never straightened up- I had asked the first night nicely if we could have a few extra towels each day as I had all the girls in my cabin, and he handed me towels that night and never again did I get extra- Most times I didn't even get clean towels(had to ask other stewards as I was walking around) For the first time ever I reduced my tip(the service was that bad, and yes I filed a complaint with his supervisor-whom only gave me a I'm sorry).
The ship is older I knew that and I went into this vacation with low expectations- but even so the cruise fell short. I was bored on the sea days(I'm not a big drinker or gambler), the shows were mediocre at best and the food was ok-(although I did get a mild case of food poisoning on Wednesday- after being sick and sleeping for 12 hours I felt better, and it wasn't sea sickness because we were docked in Nassau that day.)
Room was okay- Just had a lousy cabin steward
Took a cab to Lucaya - It was a nice trip- beach had a lot of hurricane damage but the shops were all operating.
