We arrived at the Port in New Orleans. It was very smooth getting on the ship. I cruised with girlfriend and my two sons.. The arrival on the Norwegian Dawn was excellent. The staff on the Dawn are excellent. We have all cruised before and took advantage of the unlimited beverage package and specialty dinning package.

The first night we choose to eat at Moderno Restaurant. This is the Brazilian Steakhouse. We have eaten at the same one aboard Norwegian Breakaway. The restaurant aboard the Dawn I did not feel like it had a very good salad bar. The meats were fine and I would rate it a 3 out of 5. The service was excellent.

The first night entertainment was a 3. It was just average entertainment. Kind of disappointing. I will say now the Cruise Director was average but I must say my son told me I did not understand his humor. Read more
