We are seasoned cruise passengers having traveled with Royal Caribbean, Costa, Cunard, Airtours and Thomson.

I will start with the negatives, the flight out was awful, we flew from Newcastle, it wasn't until we were on board that we were informed that we would be flying to Manchester to refuel and pick up another crew, this added 2 hours to our already long flight to Barbados. The flight should have been on a dreamliner but we flew in a Boeing 767, throughout the flight it was freezing, there were many requests from passengers for the heating to be turned up but it never was, requests for blankets were made but never appeared. The crew had a total disrespect for the passengers that I have never experienced before.

This was without doubt the worst cruise we have been on when it comes down to the all important MEAL part of the cruise. The Islands self service restaurant was awful, the food never more than warm and frequently cold. The choice was well, not British fare is the more diplomatic way of putting it. Waiter service in this restaurant was practically non existent so trying to get a drink with your meal was useless. Repetition of the same hot pudding twice a day for 4 days, not acceptable, on many occasions we asked for fresh food to be put out, when you brought this to the attention of some of the staff you just got a blank stare, others however were very helpful and polite,
