Disney Wonder

The Good

Short gangplank for boarding during embarkation and disembarkation.

Embarkation Lunch in the MDR, and the host led us to the table and stored our bags for us.

Table for two in MDR.

Immediately asked about allergies and even cabin steward knew about them.

Nice wide aisles in MDR.

Photographers culled the bad photos before adding to system for purchase.

One of the most comfortable beds in over 25 cruises.

Several power outlets, two on each night table, but not sure if US would work. Didn’t try. One European, couple/three US, two USB Plugs. We have a Kindle International Charger set that always lets us use the EU plug.

The Bad

Very small ship, but still had to wait until after 1:30 to board.

Need better grab bars in the bathroom. Remove the wall between the toilet room and the tub rooms and make it one large bathroom w/ two sinks.

Much worry about cross contamination. No separate kitchen when preparing food for people with allergies.

No Prunes.

Very noisy MDR.

Horribly slow internet.

Midship elevators too narrow

Not Enough Room between bottom of the bed and wall.

Final Note: We returned to EZ Cruise Park, and found DH had left the window open. But happily saw they had taped plastic over it!

Husband didn't like the split bathroom. Too small. Just remove the wall, and make it a large bathroom w/ two sinks/

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

Cozumel

I may have gotten the date wrong on this review. Went in November. We docked down the coast from where the Royal Caribbean ships dock.

Galveston

Great place to embark! Embarking on Disney is less crazy than on Liberty of the Seas.
