Let me start off by saying this is my first time (and probably last time) on a Carnival boat. I felt like a sardine; everywhere you turn there was a line for this, a line for that. Random hours for things that weren't posted clearly; overall very unorganized unless you follow every announcement and read every shred of paper that comes into your room. It seems like they added a bunch of staterooms to make this ship a big ship but didn't really think about making any of the common areas large enough to accommodate the amount of passengers. I will give kudos to the staff that was obviously overwhelmed; they did great. I only saw three shows; two were great (Cuban Show and America Rocks). I didn't care for Flick at all. In order to get decent seats in the lounge to watch a show you had to be there at least 20-30 minutes before the show as that is when the line started to form. Our party found it difficult to make a show and dinner as both took an exceptionally long time; dinner in the dinning room most nights was about 2 hours long. Then if you seen the early show you were literally busy from about 6:30-10:30; hard to do every night (especially with little kids). All in all I had a great time since we got to spend some quality time with family, but it had nothing to do with the ship. I will point out that Matt, the cruise director and the Playlist Dance Team were incredible. Could have been an amazing ship if they had about 1,000 less people on it. When we went they kept saying there was 4,800 passengers and like 1,400 crew. Fitness area and serenity (adult only) area were nice; a little less people there. My mother in law was traveling with a scooter and found it very difficult to navigate the boat; mainly due to passenger capacity. Also, staff did not have very good answers about whether or not certain ports were scooter friendly so she opted to stay and shop on board or play bingo. However, everything always shut down while in port :( Also, a big issue is that when traveling with a scooter they pre-boarded her onto the ship (which is nice) however they would not let her wait for us before actually boarding so she was missing from our Bon Voyage picture :(

Cabin Review

Cabin Interior (8)

Cabin was decent; not too bad of a space considering we were in interior room. Issue was getting to certain locations from our cabin proved to be a challenge. Often having to go to a different floor and take the stairs to the floor you really need. Note: I had to try to avoid the casino which made it extra difficult as I am allergic to smoke.
