We chose this cruise because we like Royal Caribbean and our 11 year old granddaughter was studying ancient civilizations and we wanted our grandchildren to see the Mayan ruins at Tulan, Mexico.

The cruise provided the ideal mix of education and fun. The grandchildren, ages 9, 11, 12 and 14 loved the kid and teen clubs and were happy to go each day. They surfed.zip lined, swam, miniature golfed. rock climbed, ice skated and just had fun. The adults enjoyed the Trivia games and the specialty party " Prohibition". We drank cocktails true to the 1930s served in tea cups at the neighborhood Speakeasy. You had better know the password and be dressed in Flapper attire if you want to get in!

We (10 of us) did our own thing during the day and came together each night for dinner. The wait staff made this the highlight of the evening. The children were treated to origami flowers made by our waitress and napkins folded like stars and Christmas trees by her helper. We were treated like royalty and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
