We sailed on 23rd December on a full ship. The staff were overwhelmed in the Windjammer restaurant with tables not being cleared promptly, cold food and food looking lack lustre, In other restaurants, cutlery was dirty ( food debris still stuck to knives) and the standard of service was inconsistant, ranging from very good to down right terrible. Particually in the bars where we were ignored, passed over an on on occassion billed for drinks we had not even ordered. It was also frustrating to be charged additinally in the speciality restaurants for food when we had already paid per head for the privalidge of eating there in the first place!! On a better note, the staterooms were clean and noise free and any issues (there were many) were attended to quickly through customer services. We had a particually bad experience in Labadee, Haiti (private beach operated by RCL) while waliking to the beach. You are forced to pass through 'market traders' where all the time you are bombarded with requests to shop here, buy this, come here....... like running a gauntlet of street traders. Very uncomfortable !! In all, the ship was at capacity and it appeared that the staff could not cope

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Clean and adequate

Port Reviews

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

The post cruise was marred by slow loading, the bus smashing into a low bridge and the tour guide being transfixed on house prices and the ;grand flood'

San Juan

Took a private trip around island, then walked around town at leisure. Very pleasant
