My husband and I chose this cruise because at the time this ship had a higher rating than the 7 day cruise we were thinking about. As the other cruiser indicated this ship does need to be retired. There was nothing special about the ship (except for the solarium). Boarding was a nightmare. The ship was late or so we were told. There was no organization whatsoever. Some of the staff was pleasant. The cruise information showed that hairdryers were provided in the cabins. This was the first time I had not taken one. Of course, there was no hair dryer. When I called the desk to ask for one, I was told in no uncertain terms that there were none available and that I would not be getting one for the remainder of the cruise. (You have got to be kidding me!!!!!) Fortunately, my tablemate at dinner brought her hairdryer and also had one in her cabin so she let me borrow hers. We had paid for roundtrip transfers to and from the boat. We were told we would be met by someone from RC in the baggage claim area. We waited, but no one ever showed up. I had to track down someone myself from RC and we were advised that we were not on the list to be picked up. We had our receipt for payment of the transfers so they did get us a shuttle to the ship. They had to write up a new transfer slip which we were to take to the pursers desk to make sure that this was straightened out. When we left, same situation. We had to take a taxi back to the airport and this cost and additonal $35.00. The showers were so small you could barely move and the water smelled terrible everytime you turned it on.I hate to sound so negative, but future cruisers need to know what to expect. On the bright side Bermuda was wonderful, but just not enough time there. You are constantly running from ferry to bus etc. We loved our tablemates and miss them already!!
