We chose this cruise because the date and port were the most convenient for us. My expectations were not high because the last Carnival Cruise we went on had gone way down with its quality of service. This was our 8th Carnival cruise. After this cruise I can say I would not travel on Carnival if I was offered the trip for FREE! The ship was dirty (VERY DIRTY!), understaffed and the food was awful! The cups for lemonade and water were 4oz cheap plastic cups. The water tasted like plastic in the cups. The food had no flavor. We ate in the dining room for breakfast and dinner and the service was awful. Every morning they messed something up with our order. The menu had hardly any choices. They rarely came by to refill our coffee or water. The dinner was a complete joke. The food portions were ridiculously small!

The entertainment on the ship was not good! The 2 comedians repeated their shows 2 days apart. The kids entertainment was tacky if you could even call it entertainment.

The most disgusting thing was the lounge chairs! I don't think they had been cleaned in months! I would use 2 towels just so every part f it was covered. The hot tubs/whirlpools were so disgusting! My son and husband went in them once and their swimsuits smelled so bad from the water that I had to wash them out in the sink with soap.
