Overall we had a great time, but we were disappointed with Celebrity. We cruise an average of once a year, but haven't been on on Celebrity for several years. We tend to choose a cruise based on itinerary more than the line or ship. The itinerary for this cruise was awesome and it was still a fabulous vacation. But overall the service level and food were not what we have come to expect from the line. So go and enjoy, but you lower your expectations. My question now is has the entire line gone downhill or just the Summit? I know it's an older ship, but service and food should be consistent throughout the line.

Embarkation was the worst I have ever experienced. I understand the ship had to have a thorough cleaning due to a virus, but staff accordingly. The line to get into the terminal took well over an hour in hot sun. Once inside it was smoother.

We did enjoy the main dining room service. We did anytime dining and usually requested table 233. The crew there was great! Food at the buffet was mediocre at best, and the same everyday for breakfast. Lunch and dinner had a little more variety. We were underwhelmed by most of the shows.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 3

Cabin C3

We liked the location as it was near a stairway and quiet, but definitely the back of the ship. Small cabin and veranda, but had everything needed, other than outlets. Only two and not in the bathroom. Not really sure what the benefits of Concierge Class were other than more rewards points.
