This cruise out of Galveston was delayed slightly due to fog. Luckily, we were staying with relatives in Houston who were dropping us off. I just checked cruisin.me and the Galveston webcams until I saw that the ship was docked, then we headed out. Everything was delayed by about 3 hours. We had Faster to the Fun, so we very quickly checked in, waited a little while for boarding to start, and got aboard. Only one bag was in our room when we got there, but the other 2 arrived in short order.

We also purchased the Cheers package. We made it worth it. It was so nice to be able to get the more expensive drinks and not think about it. Alchemy Bar was AMAZING. Cucumber Sunrise was my go-to.

Loud! Cabin is near the atrium, with a little alcove that lets all the noise up just by the elevators. We were able to dampen it somewhat by using a towel under the door and leaving the bathroom door open at night to kind of block/reflect the sound. Luckily by the time we would go to bed, the noise didn't bother us too much - we were zonked! Noise settles down around 1130 or so most nights.
